Originally opened in 1978, the quaint country store reopened under its original name in September 2019 by high school sweethearts Barb and Tom Prendergast of Cape Cod. Dedicated to marrying new with old, the Prendergasts are eager and determined to bring back the ‘Mom and Pop shop’ feel to the close knit community of Waterville Valley, NH located in the heart of the White Mountains. 

Our humble beginnings originate from the state of Puebla, Mexico. Migrating to the United States a lifetime ago, we brought the traditional and authentic Poblano dishes and flavors with us. Living and growing up in New York we never forgot our roots and now we are proud to bring these same traditional dishes and Poblano flavors to the great state of New Hampshire. We have been in the restaurant business for over 25 years, during this time we have been refining our skills in the service industry. We are proud and excited to be a part of the White Mountain National forest community.
